Description
This Padua historic centre tour is about the layers of a city whose roots go back to ancient Rome. You wander through squares, over cobbled streets and past picturesque corners, where temples, palaces, churches and abbeys sit next to colourful markets, open-air cafes and small shops.
The route passes through Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza della Frutta and Piazza dei Signori, the Basilica of St. Anthony and Prato della Valle. Along the way you hear stories and local legends, and see how the past and present mix in daily life.
