Padua Walking Tour with a Local Guide and Paduan Tasting

This Padua walking tour with a local guide takes about two and a half hours on foot through the historic centre, with a tasting to close it. The host brings you to the city's key corners one after another and tells you what each is about.

It begins at Prato della Valle, among the biggest squares in Europe, where 78 statues form a kind of album of famous Paduans. Next is the Basilica of Saint Anthony, called il Santo, which draws millions of pilgrims a year and holds the remains of the Franciscan monk who died in Padua in 1231.
